Hope Chest

Woodworker: Roger J. Williams

As a high school project, Williams crafted this cherry hope chest with teacher assistance. Williams used design elements he’d studied in class and lined the chest with cedar. The piece is finished with two coats of shellac, plus glaze, and lacquer.
