Japanese-style Coffee Table
Woodworker: Thomas Hucker
The design of Hucker’s coffee table grew out of his experiences in Japan and his interest in bridges. The table mixes through-tenons, linen lashing, and bronze keys — articulate joinery that is inventive and expressive. The piece is made from beefwood, bronze, and waxed linen cord. It is finished with oil.
