Japanese-style Credenza
Woodworker: Eric Tolleson
This Japanese-style credenza was inspired by a calendar. The case is plywood with linen découpage. The thick slate top gives the table its visual weight. Padauk on the door trim was set in place to resembe a Japanese shoji, and the plum-tree painting was done with gold leaf. Other materials used in the construction are ash and maple. The finish is aniline dye and lacquer.
