Woodworker: Brek JacobsonWhen commissioned to build a jewelry cabinet, Jacobson designed this veneered and solid-wood oval cabinet on a stand. He wanted a soft form to accentuate the feminine function of the piece. The chestnut, Sitka spruce, and curlymaple piece (18 in. deep by 28 in. wide by 36 in. tall) is finished with shellac.
