Katalox Low-Angle Block Plane

Woodworker: Joseph E. WhitmanThis low-angle block plane was Whitman’s first attempt at plane making. His inspiration came from Tools & Shops 2006 (FWW #181; “Build a Plane from a Kit”). In addition to brass and steel, he used a highly figured piece of katalox and finished it with Danish oil.
