Keepsake Box
Woodworker: Doug Stowe
Stowe has written a whole book on different ways to make boxes, but this style is one of his favorites. It includes a floating-panel top, miter joints reinforced by splines, and continuous grain for the side pieces. He uses a collection of jigs to simplify the construction. Read more about his methods in “A Better Way to Build Boxes,” FWW #201.
