Woodworker: Peter Bloch

Bloch makes his table lamps from a piece of quaking aspen that he turns from a blank weighing upwards of 200 lb. The shade is only 3/32 in. thick when finished. Each lamp is finished with three coats of polymerizing hand-rubbed oil.
