Lamp Stand
Woodworker: Michael Dunbar
This Hepplewhite-style table was popular at the end of the 18th century. Tables of this type were often made in pairs and used on both sides of a bed or couch. Plain in form, Dunbar’s table gets dressed up by the addition of curly maple veneer and cock beading on the drawer front. The rest of the table is cherry and features a period brass oval pull.
