Linen Press
Woodworker: John White
This Linen press made of pine, poplar, and maple-veneer plywood, is based on a classic piece made at a Kentucky Shaker community. The upper case with doors is constructed of pine; the lower drawer case is maple-veneer plywood, and the legs are turned from poplar. The doors open up to open shelves, and the single drawer is decorated with cock beading. The piece is still awaiting a paint finish.
