Steve built this secretary from Lonnie Bird’s “18th-century Pennsylvania Secretary” plans (FWW #154-156). He finished the cherry piece with cherry stain and water-based polyurethane.

Very Nice! I'm in the process of building mine. I'm using walnut. I'm hoping to sell it to finance new kitchen cbinet and counter tops. Don't know what to sexpect I'll get for it though. I'm hoping $5K

Very Nice, do you remember how much board feet it took? Also did you just go off of the magazine articles for plans?
