Low-Angle Block Plane
Woodworker: Robert Soule
This low-angle block plane is Soule’s second, improved version of the tool. He made this plane a bit narrower than the first version so that it would fit easily into one hand, and he improved the shape of the rear handle. The plane allows for fine blade adjustments and features brass sides dovetailed to a steel sole, with cocobolo infill. The finish is shellac.
