Woodworker: Judith Ames
The inspiration for this buffet came from the wood. Judith Ames wanted to highlight the even pink color and figure of the madrone. She combated any possible instability by using veneer on the top, sides, and door panels, paired with properly kiln-dried solid wood for the rest. The finish is lacquer.
