Maple, Ebony, Bloodwood, and Cherry Segmented Vessel
Woodworker: Ken Cowell
This segmented vessel is the largest piece Cowell has done. The 14-in.-dia. piece stands 17 in. tall, but more impressive than its size is the amount of pieces it took to make it. There are 2,977 pieces of curly maple, ebony, bloodwood, and cherry burl in the vessel. The finish is Waterlox original.
