Newport-style Knee-Hole Desk
Woodworker: William Locke
On this Newport-style knee-hole desk, the molded top edge and submolding read as one wide molding. The vertical quality of the wide molding emphasizes the front elevation over the plan view, directing the eye to the shells, which terminate the blocked design.
