Nook-and-Cranny Plane
Woodworker: Ed MushoMusho calls this his “nook-and-cranny plane.” He designed it specifically to clean out rabbet cuts on custom windows, but he’s found it very useful in any narrow channel or right-angle corner. To make the plane, he mounted the hardened tool-steel blade onto a piece of padauk at a 30° angle. Brass registration pins and bars keep the blade in place. The tool is finished with boiled linseed oil and beeswax. From Fine Woodworking #202
