Woodworker: Peter Chrisman
Though mesquite isn’t usually found as a main component of furniture, Chrisman was commissioned by a client who wanted this desk as a showpiece for his office. The piece is constructed from mesquite, mesquite veneer, wenge, camphorwood, and birch plywood. The drawer fronts feature routed finger pulls. The finish is oil and lacquer.
