Pennsylvania Spice Box with Line-and-Berry Inlay
Woodworker: Steve Latta
Latta built this inlaid spice cabinet to commemorate his 10th wedding anniversary. Since Latta and his wife are Quakers living in Chester County, Pa. he picked a design that was popular among Pennsylvania Quakers throughout the 18th century. He chose a line-and-berry-style of inlay that was common on spice boxes and other 18th-century Pennsylvania furniture. The inside of the door features inlaid initials and the couple’s wedding date. Latta finished the case, door, and drawer fronts, with several coat of garnet shellac and wax.

Does anyone know what type-font Steve Latta used for his letter inlays?
