Woodworker: G.R. Clidence
This platform-style bed is slightly higher than today’s standard to mimic a Colonial look. The queen-size mattress is supported by plywood, eliminating the bulk of a box spring. Clidence used traditional construction with mortise-and-tenon joinery and bed bolts that are hidden by decorative accents.
