Pussy Willow Chest

As one who has always been drawn to nature, Brown often finds inspiration for his furniture while hiking. The marquetry on this chest of drawers is based on the branches of a pussy willow. The carcase and top are cherry, the side panels and drawer fronts are maple, and the marquetry was created from cherry, walnut, and mahogany. The finish is varnish.
