Queen Anne Highboy
Woodworker: Gerald Curry
The Massachusetts highboy upon which Curry based this reproduction is in the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston. The identity of its maker is known-it was built by Ebenezer Hartshorne. But the whereabouts of its original legs and finials is not-somewhere along the way they were replaced. Curry built the case of his version to match the original but gave it legs more like those on other Boston highboys of the period.
