Queen Anne Highboy
Woodworker: Unknown
This highboy from the Queen Anne period (circa 1720-1785) highlights the swan-neck pediment often found on pieces from Boston’s North Shore and is unique to the Colonies. This form became popular in America for its sweeping grace and beauty.
