Woodworker: Carl Swensson
Swensson first made models of this rocker’s parts to help him work out methods of efficient manufacture along with aesthetic and structured details. His plan to build the rocker in batches justified putting over four months into the prototype. As the design of certain pieces neared completion, Swensson crafted them from clay to refine his details.
