Woodworker: Gregg Lipton
Built around 1990, when he was working mostly in solid wood, Lipton’s Roxy coffee table in East Indian rosewood has coopered ends and pear wood details. He designed it for a client with impeccable taste and an impressive collection of art. With some trepidation, he tried to endow the table with a similar feeling of elegance. Looks like he succeeded.
