Salvage Bowl
Woodworker: Rick Cannon
Cannon made this bowl in less than four hours from some rough boards rescued from a landfill. The darker wood is walnut, but the lighter wood is a mystery. His inspiration for the design and form came from the wood-turning books of Ray Key and Bert Marsh. The bowl, 6 in. dia. by 4-1/2 in. tall, was finished with blond shellac. From Fine Woodworking #205
