Salvaged Australian Red Mahogany Credenza

Woodworker: Zachary HarmsWhen the Shedd Aquarium in Chicago was throwing away solid wood from an old exhibit, Harms jumped at the chance to salvage the lumber and use it in this credenza, 26-in. deep by 62-in. wide by 32-in. tall. He used the Australian red mahogany (also known as red eucalyptus) in the legs, door frames, and side frames. The panels and top are sapele and the interior shelves are jatoba.
