Sanding Fid

Woodworker: King Heiple

Sanding fids were once used to stretch holes in sailing canvas. Now they can be useful shop tools for sanding carvings, furniture legs, and turnings with various coves. This fid is made primarily of cherry and requires only simple turning techniques to make.
