Shaker-style Chest of Drawers

Inspired by Shaker furniture, this child-size chest of drawers uses primarily cherry and soft maple with pine for the drawer bottoms. Each row of drawers graduates in size and each is outlined with a thumbnail profile. The bracket base is decorated with dovetails at the corners, which echo the exposed dovetails at the top of the case. The piece is finished with a wipe-on oil finish.
