Shaker-style Clock

This cherry and pine Shaker-style clock by Phil Lowe was scaled down by 20% to fit the needs of Lowe’s client. The clock is constructed using traditional Shaker methods. To create the aged finish Lowe used Sal-Soda mixed with water, followed by three coats of orange shellac, and finished with Kiwi brown shoe polish and a clear coat of butcher’s wax.
