Shaker-style Tall Clock

Woodworker: Edward Ballentine
Based on a piece that appeared in David Bryant’s Wooden Clock Cases (Stackpole Books, 1995), this cherry Shaker-style tall clock was built for a friend. The movement is from Murray Clock Craft Ltd., in Canada. The piece is finished with natural Watco Danish oil, two coats of Watco cherry, one coat of Minwax mahogany gel stain, four coats of sprayed Deft semigloss clear wood finish, and a thin coat of paste wax.
