This pine toy chest, a version of Dunbar’s Shaker blanket chest, features safety lid supports that can withstand rugged use by toddlers. Such supports include versions for attaching to the left, right, or center of the rear of the chest. They must be mounted in the correct location to make the lid close exactly.
