Sheraton-style Field Bed

This bed was based on Sheraton field beds of the 18th century; Mooberry and Latta were also influenced by the design requests of their client. This cherry bed does not require a box spring. It features turned bedposts and standard mortise-and-tenon joinery. The mattress is supported on a sheet of 3/4-in melamine, rwhich rests on slats.
