Woodworker: Richard Gotz

Gotz’s side table illustrates the anatomy of a three-way miter joint. Used extensively in Chinese furniture, it produces edges that meet with precision. Gotz has simplified what is normally a complex joint by using only a few cuts with power tools for this table’s construction.
