Woodworker: Hank Gilpin
Hank Gilpin designed and built this sideboard after being commissioned by clients who simply wanted a Gilpin original. Gilpin adds interest to every surface and line; curves on the breadboard ends, a slight peak on the end rail, and bevels on the back panels are all subtle design accents. The sideboard is made from quartersawn white oak with brown oak pulls and sassafras drawer bottoms. It has a natural wire-brushed surface without any finishing products.
