Woodworker: Seth Janofsky
Janofsky crafted this sideboard as his homage to oak. He paired white oak frames with English white oak panels, preferring fine tonal play to more dramatic contrasts. Instead of the handcut dovetails you would expect, the drawers are joined with multiple through-tenon lock joints. The lightness of the top, drawer bank and shelf strikes a balance with the stocky legs and square sliding doors.
