Sideboard of Kwila and Makore

Woodworker: Craig JohnsonJohnson designed this kwila and makore sideboard (18-5/8 in. deep by 39-1/4 in. wide by 39-5/8 in. tall) to challenge himself technically. The biggest challenges were the parquetry, the curved front and doors, and the hand-cut dovetailed drawers. The finish is shellac and wax.
