Woodworker: William Turner
This sleigh bed by William Turner is reminiscent of those of the Empire period in 19th-century France. Made from mahogany and rosewood, the bed features elegantly curved tambours and hand-carved sunflowers that fit into the recesses at the top of the four upright posts. The bed is finished with oil.
