Stereo Cabinet
Woodworker: Peter Barrett
Architectural influences from medieval churches and the International Style come together in this lacewood and rosewood cabinet. Cathedral buttresses were often angled at the top to shed water, and Barrett has picked up that detail, making the legs seem even more distinct from the body of the cabinet. The cabinet is made from rosewood, curly maple, and lacewood veneer. It is finished with a blend of tung oil and polyurethane, and wax.
