Stereo Cabinet
Woodworker: Tim DuPlessis
Tim DuPlessis took first prize in the 2001 Niche magazine Competition for Sudent Cafts for this stereo cabinet made of cherry, English yew, rice paper, zebrawood, walnut, and maple. The rice paper serves a dual function: It provides a relaxing feature to the cabinet, and it allows the use of the remote control through the closed doors.
