Stickley-style Blanket Chest

Shaw made this quartersawn white-oak blanket chest as a gift for his wife. The chest, based loosely on the Stickley style, features resawn, bookmatchied panels and a cedar-lined bottom. The finish is two coats of tung-oil varnish and Danish oil.
