Stickley-style Wall Cabinet
Woodworker: Don Bolanos
Bolanos’s love of the Arts and Crafts style, combined with a Gustav Stickley drawing, inspired his design of this wall cabinet for media storage. Constructed with sliding dovetails, the piece is made of quartersawn white oak, which Bolanos fumed and then finished with five coats of a linseed oil and beeswax mixture. The windows are leaded glass, and a battery-powered light illuminates the interior.
