Woodworker: Stephen Lauziere
This cherry side table hides a secret. Pulling out the front drawer reveals a frame-and-panel slide out tray on extended rails made to hold a laptop. Lauziere even used recessed walnut pulls so they wouldn’t interfere with the typist’s hands. When closed, the desk reverts back to a hall table that fits into any decor. The piece is finished with oil.
