Woodworker: Robert Newton
Robert Newton intended this tall clock to be a mixture of old and new. The overall form of the clock is Shaker inspired; however, the escutcheons and the lower door’s sash both are influenced by the work of C.R. Mackintosh. The eight-day brass weight-driven movement is traditional.
