Woodworker: Yeung Chan
Chan’s clever version of a tool chest was built for travel. To keep the tools from tumbling around when the box is closed, Chan constructed a retainer panel out of Baltic birch. The rest of the chest is made from plywood — Chan wanted a chest that was lighweight. Two straps hold the box together when closed.
