Toolbox
Woodworker: Steve Franklin
The case, drawer fronts, and door of this toolbox are made from one piece of Honduras mahogany, and the interior is maple. Franklin chose blind mitered dovetails for the carcase construction, and half-lap and through dovetails for the drawer joinery. He turned the desert ironwood pulls from stock. The toolbox is finished with shellac.
