Townsend-style Slant-Front Desk
Woodworker: Jeffrey Greene
Greene crafted this 18th-century reproduction piece in the Townsend style. There are 17 drawers on the inside of the desk, including three behind the carved door, plus a sliding panel, or well, for access to the top drawer while the lid is open. The desk is made from soft tiger maple, eastern white pine, and brass hardware. It is finished with an aniline dye and shellac.

Hi-Are there construction plans available for Jeffrey Greene's Townsend style slant top desk or one like it? It is a beauty, one I am interested in creating. Thanks, Scott
