Woodworker: Joe Wingert
When Wingert, a collector of antique Stanley tools, got his hands on this old transitional plane, all of the wood parts were shot. Fortunately, the metal parts were salvageable, so he made a new wood base and painted and polished the metal body. The finish is Danish oil.
