Trestle Cradle

Woodworker: Michael Seward

Made of hard curly maple and cherry heartwood, Seward’s trestle cradle is constructed with hand-cut dovetails and through mortise-and-tenon joints with maple wedges. The cradle can be lifted from the trestle base and rocked on the floor or locked on the uprights. It has an oil and wax finish.
