Trestle Table

Woodworker: James Merritt Dunlap

This black-cherry trestle table has adjustable joints for easy transport. If the tenoned stretchers becomes loose, wiggling the table will cause the low-pitched drawer wedges to drop in their mortises and tighten the assembly. The table is finished with a mixture of oil and turpentine.
