Veneered Display Stand

Woodworker: Gokhan Doguer

This veneered display stand has five-sided legs, and it tapers to the top, creating tricky angled joinery. Doguer says the most challenging part of the piece was the glue-up, which took 45 minutes. The teak exterior is finished with wipe-on polyurethane, and the Lebanese cedar inside the cabinet is finished with shellac.
