Walnut and Acrylic Table

Woodworker: Phillip SellThis table (54 in. dia. by 17 in. tall) is Sell’s latest piece in a line of furniture that incorporates gridwork. Creating the grid on a round table was a labor-intensive challenge, and Sell found an interesting new material, Sensitile acrylic, to use as the center. This interactive material responds to shadows, movement, and light. The Texas black walnut is finished with varnish.
